                 2024 TENTATIVE POST PROJECTS:

Raise funding for a Viet Nam War Memorial

                                                     Review PA System problem at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery

                                                     Review issue/problem with DD214 collection/storage for veterans

                                                     Review Hawaii County Parks Dept policy  on weekday only burials

                                                                at West Hawaii Veterans cemetery

                                                     Review Post's involvement with Veterans Center/CBOC, ie. Veterans

                                                               Outreach, Disabled Vet Assistance, Veterans Community

                                                               Awareness Programs, Veterans Homelessness, etc

                                                     Continue and expand Birthday/Anniversary/Hospitalization

                                                               illness or death notifications of members by card, call and/or email

                                                     Expand use of Post social media. Promote Post website & facebook,

                                                               and increase Post exposure with newspaper articles

                                                     Expand Post Recognition program for Legion members

                                                     Setting up committees: Membership, Americanism, Ceremonials,

                                                                  Children & Youth, Veterans Affairs, Legislative, etc

                                                     Continue Chamber of Commerce membership

                                                     Conduct monthly reviews of Annual Long Term plan listings of all of 

                                                                  year's events & projects/Review and plan funding requirements

                                                                  for all events & projects that require funding support

                                                     Plan & receive membership input for annual Dept Fall & Spring meetings
